From first look to first alert — four steps.

my-iris is the escalation layer behind your monitoring: when something critical fires, it pushes the alert to the on-call person’s my-iris app, calls when the push goes unanswered, escalates until someone acknowledges, and writes an audit-ready record. Here is the whole path from reading this page to your first resolved alert.

1. 01Understand

   See what my-iris does — and what you need

   my-iris does not replace your monitoring; it makes sure a person acts on what your monitoring finds. An alert goes to one person at a time — a push to the my-iris app, then a voice call — until someone acknowledges, and every step is recorded. To start, you need three things, all of which you almost certainly have already.

   • A work email address — you will be the workspace admin
   • The mobile numbers of the people to alert — each of them uses the my-iris app on their own phone
   • A system that can call a webhook or send an email on an event — that is the entire integration
2. 02Set up

   Open your workspace with us

   Tell us what you monitor and who is on call. We quote your seats, open your EU workspace and verify your company — my-iris sends nothing until that check is done.

3. 03Your data

   The DPA, in plain terms

   When you send alerts through my-iris, you stay the controller of the recipient data and alert content you provide; MeshWorks Wireless Oy acts as your processor and touches that data only to deliver the service, on your instructions. The Data Processing Agreement is structured to GDPR Article 28 and is available on request. Your core alerting data lives on EU infrastructure by architecture, and our subprocessors are published openly.

4. 04First alert

   Invite your team and send a real test

   Inside your workspace: add the people who should be alerted, invite each of them to the my-iris app, connect whatever detects your problems, and fire a test. Acknowledging the alert — in the app, or by pressing 1 on the call — stops the escalation and closes the loop.

   • Invite each person to the my-iris app with a link or QR code; they confirm with a six-digit SMS code
   • Connect your monitoring with one REST call or an email trigger address, send a test alert, acknowledge it, and read the end report
