Some people need to know how an alert ended without opening an app: a site manager, a quality lead, the next shift. With the SMS end report option, my-iris texts the outcome to the numbers you choose when the alert ends.

What the end report tells you

  • The outcome in one text

    The alert’s name, who acknowledged and who skipped — by the last four digits of their number — and when the alert started and ended.

  • You choose who gets it

    Your admin picks the numbers for each receiver group in the console, from that group’s members.

  • 7 languages

    The end report uses the my-iris message templates, available in all 7 my-iris languages.

  • Charged per segment

    Charged per SMS segment sent, from prepaid credit. my-iris writes its own part of the report in plain characters, so a segment can hold up to 160 of them.

  • STOP is respected

    A number that has sent STOP to the sending number gets no end report. Opting out is separate from answering alerts.

  • Always in the app and console

    Every alert’s end report is in the my-iris app and the console, with or without the SMS option.

SMS end report — frequently asked

Is the SMS end report included in the seat price?

No. It is a paid option, charged per SMS segment sent, from prepaid credit. The end report in the my-iris app and the console is always included.

Who can receive it?

The numbers your admin selects for each receiver group, from that group’s members.

Can people answer the alert by SMS?

No. Alerts are answered in the my-iris app or on the voice call. The end report is for information only.

How do we switch it on?

Ask us: we switch the option on for your workspace, and your admin then picks the numbers.

Is this GDPR-compliant?

Yes. Colleagues appear only by the last four digits of their number. Data resides on Cloudflare’s EU edge, and GDPR Art. 15 export, Art. 17 erasure and STOP/START opt-out are supported.
