Does reaching more people cost more?

Each person who receives alerts is one seat, so a longer on-call list means more seats. Within an alert, pushes cost nothing extra, however many people my-iris works through. Each voice call my-iris places is charged as one call, answered or not.

What happens when the prepaid credit runs out?

Voice calls and SMS end reports stop until the credit is topped up. Push alerts through the my-iris app keep going, because they are part of the seat. Keep an eye on the balance: without credit, a push that goes unanswered is not followed by a call.

Are failed calls or SMS charged?

No. A call or an SMS is charged only when it is actually placed or sent. One that fails costs nothing.

How much does sending an alert actually cost?

A push to the my-iris app costs nothing extra: push alerts are included in the seat price. Two things are charged by use. A voice call, which my-iris places when a push goes unanswered, is charged per call. The SMS end report, if you choose that option, is charged per SMS segment. Both are paid from prepaid credit, and only calls that are placed and SMS that are sent are charged.
